I already thought that Regular RUclips sounded unusually good for streaming small files, then I purchased Ad free RUclips and they included RUclips Music. Definitely a big jump in audio quality from Regular RUclips.

Spotify has got a decent podcast library, which RUclips Music doesn't have yet (not for other languages than English anyway)

When I click on "Order replacement sim" it doesnt give me an option except to pay for a physical one. Im using Iphone XR is that not compatible?

Spotify has a muted sound signature for sure. RUclips Music with Dolby Atmos turned on is absolutely fantastic.

I've been a Mint Mobile customer twice and they've sucked twice. Here's my Trust Pilot Review: Update from my previous review: Previously: Following an email offer from Mint about 3 months of free service, I purchased 3 months at $15. In order to redeem that offer, I needed to simply buy before May 12th and use that same email at check out. I did that. My account said I only had 3 months of service when I should have had 6 (3 bought, 3 free), and that my next charge would be $75/3 months. Update: I've messaged Mint via Facebook about this. They ignored my request to secure my three free months and instead asked me to purchase an year's worth of service to lock in the $15/month - which is only for new customers. So I used the company website's chat bot on May 9th. The connection failed and the page became unresponsive. So I called today on May 14th via the 1 800 number on the email. The service representative told me she could do nothing on her end and directed me back to the chat bot. Which, again, gave me the same error message about a failing connection and the page became unresponsive. On top of that... I can barely call from my home located in a large US city. So yeah, I hope this isn't your experience with them. It's incredibly frustrating and I feel I've been duped.

TuneCore is the worst getting your songs released. They won't release your songs sighting any foolish reasons... Don't fall for their lucrative marketing

I think I had a scammer. My issue was a message (when I tried to call someone else in the mint circle) saying my call couldn’t be put through because I was behind in payment. Thing is… I could call another person in my circle without the message. BTW, I owe nothing. They acknowledged but wanted information on people in my circle. Both were non-English speaking. Beware! Mint needs to get a handle on this!

You have broken a cardinal rule of networking terminolgy at 1:52 into your Mint Mobile video: You confused bits and Bytes. You said "... 4 gigabits per month" referring to the data cap. WRONG. It is confusing enough for people out there to keep them straight. You just made it worse. What is the difference? Network speeds are measured in bits per second (bps). Notice the little b. When you do a speed test, the result is in bps. Data storage and usage is measured in Bytes (as in 10GB per month) Notice the Big B. You need to update the video anyway... Mint's lowest plan is now 5GB/month of data, not 4GB.

Someone needs to tell him that GB is gigabyte, Gb is gigabit. I took a drink every time he erroneously said gigabit and now I'm in the hospital.

I'm being falsely accused of fake streams by landr. their accusations are smoking mirrors with no wild proof when requested. as an artist i can't prove I am not. they are threatening to take down my music. honestly I'm done with self release. if a label doesn't pick up a track it doesn't get released. I'm looking now for a 3rd distributor to at least park my music

Mint is great and they do have the starter 3 month plans vs the 7 days if you are serious about trying. The only issue I have found is that on older devices you might have to manually enter the APN info on the phone to get mobile data. Everything is in black and white on their site and customer service is very good if you need help. Everyone is so afraid to switch , so sad.

8gb is not enough. Neither is 256gb. But I’d not advocate buying the upgrades either. You can pick up NVMe gen 4 for peanuts now, you can also get 32gb ram for about £100. Apple are stingy now. My 2007 iMac had bays for ram upgrades and a screen that was magnetic for easy maintenance and upgrades. Apple now solders it all. No upgrades no maintenance if needed. Meanwhile my gaming pc.. I just remove the glass panel..

Really good advice here. I’m on M1 studio with a couple of Intel Mac minis running as slaves (orchestral libraries!). Mac silicon has been a brilliant move for music producers and any of those will be fine for most. Your Mac Mini M2 is ironically the sweet spot for ultimate performance if using Logic and Pro Tools. Unbelievably, those two are the only DAWs that don’t use efficiency cores - and because the M3 has more efficiency cores than the M2 you end up with a slightly less capable machine if you’re using Logic or Pro Tools. I use Cubase and Logic mainly and Ableton sometimes. For Cubase or Ableton go M3 but for Logic save some money and pick up an M2.

You have the base model with 8GB RAM? Can you say something about the RAM consumption for your projects? It has often been confirmed that the performance of the M2 is super, but the RAM is where the biggest questions arise. Especially when producing music with sample-based instruments such as Omnisphere or Kontakt Libraries?

I worked at cheesecake. The kitchen line is pretty stacked so its never just a few cooks having to handle large volume. Theres about 7-8 different stations, i worked broiler station with 1 other cook and we had about 12-15 items that we perfected so it was definitley managable. I focused on facing the grill and just cooking the product and monitoring temps, he focused on facing the window and plating the food, garnishing and adding the cold ingredients and talking to the expo/front of house manager.

Now the question is, will the options reviewed, sufficiently handle a powerhouse DAW and regular life computer functions? Storing photos, basic video editing, streaming, etc.

The new Mint mobile international roaming plans are a real rip off! $10 for a day for 1GB and 60 mins !! I'm currently in France and you can get a full month of unlimited calls and 150 GB of data with Syma, for that price. Similarly, you can get much cheaper plans in other countries I've been to recently such as China and Malaysia. So if you travel abroad regularly, take this into account and forget about Mint Mobile, it's a pain!
